A connection with nature, with light, is my constant life companion. An early memory is of closing my eyes seeing the sprinkles dancing on my eyelids, the interface between an inner world and the expanse beyond. I love the light on the mountains, on the sea, the mist filling the valley changing perceptions of the world, marking out time, opportunities to travel, explore, be in the world, in the moment, the magic, the energy, trust in process, feeling the pleasure and pain, the earth in my hands, the people in my life, the knowledge of connection, the gratitude for all and the good fortune of having a full bowl to my spoon.
Glass and light continue to be my medium of choice.
Were I to choose one item to carry, through life, it would be a spoon.
