I work to commission site-specifically - a process which still fascinates and absorbs me. I love the research. By looking at the architecture or the public space, the people who use it, the natural light available by talking to the client, by drawing, painting, playing - something excitingly new is extruded.

I work with studios in Europe to realise my designs on a large scale, often screen-printing enamel on to float glass which can be: bent, toughened, and supported by steel in the case of sculpture. However recently, I have made four windows for Green Mountain Monastery in Vermont. Choosing mouth-blown glass, acid etching, glass painting, and even lead, has re-ignited my enthusiasm for pushing the boundaries with traditional materials.

Exhibiting internationally biannually affords an opportunity to try out something new, different and portable.
