The medium of glass captured my interest when I was a young art student, studying jewellery. My eighteen year-old self had considered stained glass be old fashioned and fusty but, one day, the glass department received a consignment of mouth-blown sheets of glass. These had been arranged along a corridor to create a compelling sight of pure transmitted colour, which was a joy to behold, and the seed was planted!

Almost forty years later, I am still interpreting my creative ideas through this complicated and compelling medium but, most importantly, I keep working and adapting and looking and drawing with line and light. By feeling my way around this precious place, my attempts to channel and convey our awesome environment continue!
