The beauty of glass when it coexists with light has always fascinated me. My design focuses on expressing this quality that glass and light possess together in the most effective way. My interest lies more in the light and the spatial effect my work creates, than what can physically be made with glass. I have developed my own technique which is simple and does not require poisonous chemicals nor specialised equipments. This has enabled me to engage clients and large groups of people, including children, in the making process. Their participation makes my work very special for those involved. I believe this to be a very important aspect of an art work in public/private space.
