While I was involved in a glass painting and mosaic practice at Derix Studio in NRW Germany I began painting on canvas and traditional stained glass work on a private basis, which I exhibited locally. I personally am very fond of a particular subdued matt finish silver colour which I sometimes apply to the rear of the glass using an asphalt rack.

I allow my imagination to run freely and because I enjoy the "Troy Malay" series of small objects

I sometimes use wooden boxes, the insides of which are mirrored, to hold these glass objects thereby creating a fusion of decorative metal foil and glass.

In addition I am quite happy to take on the challenge of glass or lamp glass and indeed I sometimes apply glass blowing techniques as well.
